EmpowerWISM 2022: Partners & Prizes

4 days

The goal of #EmpowerWISM2022 is to encourage and promote the women-founded and managed companies within our industry, who are creating waves and making change happen.

Why are we doing this? Well, if you dig into the data, the majority of shared mobility customers are:
🙋‍♂️ Male
🧔‍♂️ Aged 31-40
💰 With an above average income
🎓 With higher education

If you take a look at the shared mobility workforce, can you guess what you will find? That’s right, the data shows that the majority of the workforce is:
🙋‍♂️ Male
🧔‍♂️ Aged 31-40
💰 With an above average income
🎓 With higher education

This means that a HUGE demographic are not using our shared mobility solutions (and they could be!) because our transportation system has an inherent design bias. We are searching for women entrepreneurs who are tackling the transportation problems of today and tomorrow! Learn more about the ins and outs of the Empower Women in Shared Mobility Pitch 2022 here. But, keep in mind that you only have 4 DAYS LEFT TO APPLY!

Why should you apply?

The first edition of the Autonomy Paris trade fair saw the light of day in 2016, one year after the historic Paris climate agreement. Their name “Autonomy” refers to the crucial issue of the need for autonomy of urban mobility solutions in the face of the use of fossil fuels. Thanks to their Newsletter the Urban Mobility Weekly, they have built the largest reading audience in the sustainable mobility sector.

They are now combining their experiences in hosting physical and digital events to help their community of companies, startups, cities and NGOs to meet and collaborate on the future of urban mobility.
