The COVID-19 pandemic was a defining moment for urban mobility — our usual patterns were revised, reshaped, and remodelled overnight. This report captures the changes to Metro Vancouverites’ lifestyles and travel behaviour during Phase 1 and the recovery phase, drawn from 958 survey responses with a 95% confidence rating.
Conducted from June 10 to July 5, 2020, it highlights five key takeaways on how the region experienced the pandemic and what residents want from mobility going forward.
